Principal Presales Architect – Azure / Customer Insights

The Principal Solutions Architect is is the lead for delivering Customer Insights and Azure solutions with responsibility for being both customer facing and revenue generating in a pre-sales capacity.  This individual will gather client technical and business requirements, provide consulting, execute and/or lead technical workshops with clients, and develop product and proposal content.  This individual will also provide consulting leadership on projects.

Utilizing the 360 model as a guide, our consultants take clients on a journey through strategy, implementation, customization, and support, ensuring exceptional customer experience at every step of the way.  As a Principal Solutions Architect, you will elevate relationships with our accounts by approaching them through a customer experience lense and architecting bleeding-edge technology solutions which address their business challenges.   • Leads and/or participates in the project team to develop optimal solutions for client business challenges.  Guides the client through design, architecture, estimate, and delivery.
  • Wins new business by working cross-functionally with sales and delivery to develop client proposals and presentations around process and solution options, clearly explaining technical concepts for shared understanding to facilitate decision-making.
  • Manages client engagements at all levels of client interaction with responsibility for product and technical content.
  • Provides thought leadership around core GTM solutions internally and externally. Leads technical workshops to drive enablement and business development.
  • Utilizes industry and Microsoft contacts to generate new business opportunities and revenue.
  • Delivers strategic thought leadership by participating in multiple client engagements simultaneously in both pre-sales and delivery capacities.
  • Completes at minimum one (1) certification exam a year.
  • Creates, maintains, and submits an accurate weekly timesheet in compliance with time reporting procedures.
  • Contributes to financial success of the company by driving high billable utilization for project team members under their leadership.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field preferred. Master’s a plus.
  • 2-3 years’ experience performing pre-sales activities along with 4+ years’ experience working with relevant Microsoft technology (Customer Insights, Azure, Data, AI/ML, CRM / D365, Power Platform) in a professional services environment.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ project leadership experience, including 2+ years’ experience leading enterprise-level projects in a professional services or consulting environment.
  • Mastery of Customer Insights, Azure, technology integration, Synapse, AI/ML required.
  • Preferred experience in Power Platform, Power Apps, Power BI, Data/AI, D365 Enterprise Applications, CRM.
  • Certification in relevant Microsoft discipline(s) preferred.
  • Consulting leadership experience working for a Microsoft partner with spectacular client references.
  • Experience in client relationship and team building.
  • Ability to shape strong presentations and narratives that influence and commit people to change.
  • Previous experience using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Travel up to 50% nationally
